Minimum traffic volumes

When looking for new billboard sites is there any general guidelines or common recommendations regarding minimum traffic volumes needed for profitable billboards? This would assume wooden billboards that were to be newly constructed.

Thanks for the help!

There are a lot of other factors involved. The market in general. Rural, urban, sububban? 10,000 is probably as low as I would go.

This would mostly be for more rural areas.

“You are you selling to?” is the magic question. Unless your ‘uncle Bob’ oversees the spend for the state lottery, local market area trumps everything. The face(s) had better be showing to traffic on the way to some major commercial activity/attraction or you’ll likely become the AdCouncil’s new BFF. Good luck.

We are taking offers for purchase of our property.
It has two boards on it. A 10x22 and a junior board.
It has permits held by Fairway outdoor HOWEVER there are no current lessees in effect and can be negotiated by a new owner! -In March we issued them a letter stating the leases will not be renewed.-
