Are there any ad agencies in particular that you guys would recommend working with? I don’t know very much at all about them, but I think it would be a good option if I can’t rent the space on my own. Are there certain ones depending on where you live? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I don’t know much about ad agencies, but I ran across a website called www.adamigo.com that allows you to post your billboard to specific cities.
While posting on-line can’t hurt, I would make a list of all the ad agencies in your market, and then send them a list or your availables each month. But I have to be honest that, of all the ways I’ve ever sold ad space, that’s had the least impact. Ad agencies tend to shop only with the largest outdoor companies (Lamar, CBS, Clear Channel) and only deal with smaller sign owners when the big guys do not have anything available (which is very rare). But it never hurts to try.
