Hi - I’m in the process of pricing out a 14’x48’ center mount billboard, however, the sign needs roughly a 60 degree angle (or about 48’). This would provide the most optimum read to the adjacent Highway, although we might be able to cheat in a few feet. What are some ideas with this situation and what should we expect with the cost of fabrication, installation and or other issues? Thanks for your help!!!
A 48’ width at the “V” will convert the structure into a “tri-face” in engineering, which will increase the cost almost exponentially. Do you really need that much “V”? If you do, and you are on raw land out in the country, you might consider building two single face I-beam units – in that event, you could make the “V” even larger.
