I’m new to the billboard industry, but I’ve already identified a handful of sites in Massachusetts that appear to meet the spacing, zoning, and visibility requirements after completing due diligence. My goal isn’t to own or operate billboards. I want to secure site control, obtain the necessary permits, and then sell the project to a billboard company.
For those who’ve done this before, am I missing any major steps in the process, or are there pitfalls that first-time site developers usually overlook?
