Using a billboard to find land owners?

Hello All. I bought Franks Book and have read it through - lots of great information there. I have one existing billboard with a 10x20`digital face (Watchfire) and I would like to start adding static faces to my inventory.

I do this as a hobby, so I don’t have a lot of time to pull property records and bang on doors. I have considered trying an advertisement on the digital board offering “$36,000 to put a billboard on your land” **paid over 30 year term.

Anyone tried something like this, or is it a bad idea? Appreciate any feedback!

This is an interesting idea. Only downside is that you may get a ton of dead end leads due to people not knowing their local billboard rules.

I’d be curious to hear Frank’s opinion on this idea.
